which was purrrrrrrfect for a friends birthday :)

Some purple paper provided the 'floor',

some birthday balloons, twine tied to the tail,

and a sequined collar for the glam cat.

Rudolph Day

Morning!

I'm back!

I met Di and Parsnip in the Snippets Playground,

only to find out this time next month it'll all be over!

However, like Di, I enjoy the leftovers and the rest!

It also mean yesterday was the last Rudolph Day Challenge,

so we have until the month end to share...

I was thinking flat for postage, using the Pine Cones set,

another fab two step one so you can create layers with ink.

Love the dinky holly leaves, and that's a gold strip believe it or not lol

Snippets Playground

Morning!

I don't post regularly for months, then you get two posts in one day!

In fact if you come back later there'll probably be 3!

It's a new prize up for grabs in the Snippets Playground,

and I'm pleased to take something other than a card for a change,

thanks to the club I attend in High Halden

It's a simple wire double ring, with snippets of ribbon and material tied to it! 

They will have a few finished ones for sale at a craft fair next weekend,

so if you are near High Halden Kent go grab one....a bargain as they took quite a few hours!

Seriously, it was so easy even I could do it!

We had lots of scraps in the middle of the table, and we all scrapped over shared them!

If you fancy a go, we used snippets about 1" wide and 6" long,

and tied in a single or double knots.

You can trim, tweek, and add bits in between until you're happy,

I was VERY happy, so much so, I'm going to do another!

I'm off to the Playground now, but I'll need my gloves and hat today brrrrrrr!

Beautiful You

I used Beautiful You for this one.

I stamped the chair from Mediterranean Moments,

then roughly cut a mask.

I then got the stampa ma jig out so I could position the lady with her hand on the chair.

I know it looks a bit like she's stood in the plant pot!

I gently watercoloured the image and layered it up with coordinatling card.

Supersized

Here's a supersized 8" x 8" card

I don't often make large cards due to postage costs,

but this one's being hand delivered and it suited the paper

I wanted to use the chair from Seasonal Layers,

chose the Wood Textured paper as background,

cut leaves from crumb cake and inked in crumb cake, added orange to edges.

The grass was crumb cake inked with green, then punched with an old punch.

I love the dinky drink on the chair arm, and a stitched oval sentiment finished the scene.

Stamps to sparkly paper

I had a number of cards to make, and not much time,

so while I had this lovely paper out, I decided to add some stamping,

to make a birthday card

I love the stitched shapes framelits, and the oval made a nice frame for the

Pretty Label Punch, and the lush ribbon adds luxury.

Little Ted

For the friend that loves Teddy Bears,

this was the card I made from me

I love that lattice embossing folder, layered up with squares,

decoupaged the bear, and some sparkly ribbon.

The stamp is a Kodomo Inc that was kindly gifted to me.

Celebrate with Year of Cheer

I made this for a team member who celebrated her

Stampin' Up! Anniversary.

It came together very quickly ( a godsend as I was short of time),

by using the pretty Speciality paper from the winter catalogue,

added some silver foil, silver ribbon et voila!

Pretty Poodle

Morning!

Whizzzzzzzzing by to share a couple of cards

Cute poodle, and love the ripple embossing folder....even better in real life

The top one uses Fancy Foil, simply topped with die cut greeting,

cards don't have to be complicated...........

and as you can see I made some extra pooches needing good homes....
